Overlays

Foam overlays provide pressure redistribution and additional comfort through increased airflow and permeability that dissipates heat while wicking excess moisture away from the body. Open cell visco foam provides value-added breathability and air flow by dissipating heat away from the body, allowing for a cooler feel.

Using FXI's patented SMT™ (Surface Modification Technology) process, Overlays are customizable by design. The SMT™ process allows for custom sculpting in a single foam component to create varying support characteristics.

Overlay constructions are available for standard to longer length of stay patient scenarios. Overlays are able to be customized for use across a breadth of medical markets including Acute Care, Long Term Care, Homecare, Institutional Bedding, Assisted Living, and Independent Living environments.

These overlays are manufactured in an ISO 13485 certified facility.
