Spectroseal ®

Overview

Spectroseal ® is an enhanced polyether sealing foam designed to replace over-engineered rubber products. Spectroseal ® has much higher compression force deflection performance than otehr gasketing products but is lower in weight since it is based on polyurethane foam instead of rubber. Spectroseal ® is mainly used in automotive gaskets.

Primary Usage

In applications where you are looking to displace a common rubber seal, Spectroseal ® is a great option to consider. It offers moderate to good water and air sealing performance, but often better than rubber seals at a lower cost.
