FXI Acquires 25-Acre Southern California Manufacturing Site

      DEAL SOLIDIFIES LONG-TERM COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMERS, EMPLOYEES & COMMUNITY

      ORANGE, CA – FXI, the leading producer of innovative foam products, announced today that it has purchased the 250,000-square-foot, 25-acre manufacturing facility located at 2060 North Batavia Street that it has leased since the Company’s formation in 2009. The transaction assures customers, employees and the broader community of the Company’s commitment to manufacturing in Southern California for many years to come.

      “Our Orange facility is critical to supporting our customers in Southern California and the Western part of the United States and we are extremely pleased to complete this purchase. This demonstrates our commitment to our local customers as well as our national customers that require a robust manufacturing footprint,” said FXI President and Chief Executive Officer John Cowles.

      The Orange facility uses patented Variable Pressure Foaming (VPFSM) technology, the most environmentally friendly foam manufacturing process on the market, resulting in virtually zero emissions. VPFSM technology also enables FXI to offer the broadest of array of enhanced performance, flexible polyurethane foam solutions.

      Terms of the transaction were not released. FXI purchased the facility from an affiliate of Sares-Regis Group.
